The War Horse

The timeless War Horse exemplifies the passion and pride that Cod Steaks bring to all our projects.

Designed and built by Cod Steaks in Bristol, cherished by the Yorkshire town where it now stands, the five metre tall War Horse is a majestically beautiful public art piece, a testament to the inspirational creativity of its sculptors.

Sited in the Mill Pond Meadows nature reserve in Featherstone, the memorial looks out over young trees that were planted by school children in 2014 to commemorate those who gave their lives for their country.
